In the 1990's, we were directly involved in providing professional pest control service. Our experience convinced us that the use of baits was safer, more effective and more environmentally friendly than the prevailing practices of the day, which involved the widespread use of organophosphate pesticides.
The problems that immediately came to our attention once we shifted our programs toward the use of baits were that there were no effective ways to place the bait where you wanted it without leaving a mess, and that when using liquid and gel baits in that manner they dried out too quickly.
To solve these problems, we invented the Ant Café Bait Station, Bug Bar® and Gourmet Liquid and Gourmet Gel baits to use inside. These stations protect the bait from the environment -- and the environment from the bait and are available today in packaging specifically geared to the professional market.
