                   Gourmet Ant Bait Gel.

Gourmet Ant Bait Gel^® has 6% Disodium octaborate tetrahydrate (DOT) as the active ingredient. DOT is less repellent then other Boron based toxicants and is more effective at eliminating both the workers and queens in active ant colonies than many other products. Recent studies show that foraging ants take only 1/4 as much food in gel form as compared to feeding on liquids, Therefore, the dose of DOT delivered to the colony is about the same as in a 1-2% liquid bait. Gel baits tend to dry out quickly unless placed in an Ant Cafe, so small placements should not be relied upon  for control.
